It's Mother's Day and -- relax, because you still have a couple of hours before it's time for brunch (or breakfast in bed). Plenty of time to make a simple (and heartfelt) last-minute bouquet or floral arrangement. Here are five easy ways to say Happy Mother's Day:

Bouquet No. 1: Take one peony and...almost anything else. Place the two stems together in a low, wide-mouth vase. For the second stem, white and fragrant is nice (as above) or for an even simpler arrangement....

Bouquet No. 2: Pair a peony with a handful of fresh mint stems and put the posy in a simple vase (or silver cup). For step-by-step instructions, see DIY: Peony and Mint Bouquet.

Bouquet No. 3: Raid the backyard for roses. Any combination will do—climbing roses, tea roses, shrub roses—so long as you cut the stems to roughly the same length. Wrap the bouquet in brown paper and twine. For step-by-step instructions, see DIY: Easy Rose Bouquet.

Bouquet No. 4: Supermarket ranunculus (really) in a simple glass bottle or vase. For step-by-step instructions, see DIY: Easy Ranunculus Bouquet.

Bouquet No. 5: Lilacs, lilacs, lilacs. Grab a fragrant armful—you can mix colors or use a monochromatic palette—and put them into a tall, narrow-necked vase or bottle. For more, see Consider the Lilac.
