10 Easy Pieces: Gate Braces

After some years, it’s inevitable that a garden gate—be it made of wood, vinyl, or composite—is going to sag, and drag, just a little. To update your gate, you’ll need an adjustable steel or wire brace, connecting the top and bottom of the gate on a diagonal. Here are our favorite options.
