When Danny Pilkington’s mother mentioned in 2017 that she was unable find the perfect house numbers to mount on the wall by the front door, Danny and his wife Veronica began to brainstorm with her to create a better design.
Together they came up with four versions of wall-mounted house numbers with planters just big enough to showcase succulents or a seasonal holiday arrangement of boughs. “We loved the idea of the planter, because it adds more personality and style to the home,” says Danny.
Fast forward a year: Danny and Veronica have launched a collection of Modern Aspect house numbers. It’s a small, family-owned business in Utah (Danny’s dad has a metal finishing company, which powder coats all the planters and numbers on site) and the couple’s simple, clean designs work well with many architectural styles.
We’re thrilled to introduce you to the collection:
Mounting instructions: “Each planter box has brackets that have key holes cut into the brackets. Makes it easy for nails or screws to hang and on the planter and keep them safe and secure.” Screws are not included; masonry screws are recommended for stucco, brick, and stone facades.
House numbers are like jewelry: the right ones will add a special touch of embellishment. See more ideas in our House Numbers archives and don’t miss:
