Finding a good-looking porch swing feels like a coup of sorts. Finding a good-looking porch swing where the designers have also thought of clever places to tuck icy drinks and books for lazy-day reading feels like a miracle.
Arrowhead is a two man craft operation located in Raleigh, North Carolina, and by our estimation they've found something of a porch swing genius in their friend Jackson who designed the Two Up Harris Swing.
Based on a design for a swing that belonged to his great-grandfather, Jackson designed the Harris Swing—which comes in one- or two-person options—to be built entirely without fasteners. Local North Carolina lumber and rope are the only two materials used to hold together the indoor/outdoor swing.
